On-device AI and offline use
Both apps generate every answer on the device and work in airplane mode once a model is downloaded. Neither needs an account. In Priobs, web search and connected apps exist too, but they are optional, off by default, and ask before anything leaves your phone.

Private LLM also works with Siri and Shortcuts and can search inside your chats. We could not find attachments, on-device tools or scheduled automations on its App Store page. Private LLM focuses on running a wide range of models well.
Apple Intelligence
Priobs includes Apple’s on-device Foundation Model next to the open models. On a supported iPhone there is nothing to download and nothing extra to buy on top of Priobs Pro. Private LLM does not advertise Apple Foundation Model support.
