What is Apple Intelligence in Priobs?

Apple Intelligence is Apple’s set of on-device AI features, and at its core sits the Foundation Model: a language model Apple ships as part of iOS on supported iPhones. Priobs lets you chat with that model directly, next to the open models in its library. It already lives on your iPhone, so it is ready the moment you select it.

Who made it

Apple built and trained the Foundation Model, and it runs on the device. Priobs gives you a chat around it, with the same tools, attachments and history you get with any other model in the app.

What it’s good at on iPhone

Apple tuned the Foundation Model to run efficiently on iPhone, which makes it a strong everyday option:

  • Quick, general chat and questions
  • Writing help: drafting, editing and rewriting
  • Tool use in Priobs, like checking your calendar or adding a reminder
  • No download and no extra storage, since it is already part of iOS

Like the open models, it is a compact on-device model, not a giant cloud model. It will not match a frontier cloud AI on very hard questions. For everyday use it is quick, private and ready to go.

Which iPhones can use it

Apple Intelligence needs supported hardware: iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, plus every iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 model, with Apple Intelligence turned on. Older iPhones and the standard iPhone 15 can still run the open models in Priobs. Check Settings on your iPhone to confirm support.

How to get it in Priobs.

Nothing to download. It is already on your iPhone as part of iOS.

  1. Turn on Apple Intelligence: go to Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and enable it.

  2. Open Priobs and go to the Model Library. Apple Intelligence is there, no download needed.

  3. Select it as your active model and start chatting.

General Priobs questions

Do I have to pay extra to use Apple Intelligence in Priobs?

No extra purchase. Apple Intelligence is included with Priobs Pro, the same subscription that covers every other model. You can try it during the free trial.

Why is there no download for Apple Intelligence?

The Foundation Model is already part of iOS on supported iPhones. Priobs uses that model directly, the same one Apple’s own features use.

My iPhone does not show Apple Intelligence. Why?

It needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. If your iPhone does not support it, you can still use any of the downloadable open models.

Is my data private when I use Apple Intelligence in Priobs?

Yes. The Foundation Model generates every answer on your iPhone, like every other model in Priobs. Your prompts never go to a Priobs server.
