On-device AI and offline use
Both apps generate answers on the device and work in airplane mode once a model is downloaded. Priobs runs models on Apple’s MLX framework and needs no account. Its connected features (web search, Telegram, MCP) are off by default and ask before anything leaves your phone.
Model library
OfflineLLM’s big strength is freedom. Load any GGUF model, including niche fine-tunes you will not find in any curated list. The flip side: you need to know where to find those files and which ones your device can handle.
Priobs does the picking for you: ten curated models, each labelled for what it does best, downloaded in the app and checked against a fixed revision. The app hides models your iPhone cannot run and warns you about ones that may be unstable.
MCP, APIs and power features
