Priobs questions, answered.

No. Answers are generated on your iPhone and your chats are stored there. Data only leaves the device for model downloads, subscription checks, and optional features you turn on yourself, like web search or a connected app.

No Priobs account, no email, no login. If you connect an outside service such as Notion or Telegram, you sign in to that service directly.

No. Priobs has no analytics or tracking SDK, doesn’t profile how you use the app and doesn’t share data for advertising.

On your iPhone. It is never uploaded to a Priobs server. Like your other app data, it is part of your normal iPhone or iCloud device backup. You can lock the app with Face ID.

Every model in Priobs, Apple’s Foundation Model included, runs on the device. Nobody receives your prompts unless you use an optional connected feature, and then only that service gets the request you approved.

Connected apps (MCP servers) ship switched off. Once you add one and enable a tool, Priobs can send that service the details a request needs and read back the answer. Remote calls ask for confirmation and are marked in the chat. Leave them off for a strictly local session.

Web search is optional and off by default. You add your own Brave Search API key, and Priobs asks before every search. Only the search query goes to Brave. Your conversation stays on the iPhone.

Yes. Attach PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, or photos and scans, and ask about them. Text is extracted on your iPhone. For photos, Priobs reads the text and recognizes what’s in the scene.

If you let it. Tools for calendar, reminders, contacts, Health, location and device status are each a switch in Settings, and iOS asks for permission first. The data is read on the device and used only to answer you.

Prompts that run on a schedule, such as every morning or before calendar events. Priobs runs them on your iPhone and sends the answer as a notification. Each run is saved in a history.

Yes. Use “Ask Priobs” to get an answer from Siri or a shortcut, “Start a Priobs Chat” to jump into the app, and “Run Priobs Automation” to trigger an automation.

Yes. Library search finds past chats and attachments by what they say, not just by title. You can also show results in Spotlight. That option is off by default.

Priobs checks your iPhone’s memory. It hides models that won’t fit, marks the ones close to the limit as possibly unstable and recommends a model for your device.

Yes. Every downloaded model works offline, including in airplane mode. Use Wi-Fi for the download itself, since some models are a few gigabytes.

Apple Intelligence is Apple’s own on-device model, built into iOS on supported iPhones (iPhone 15 Pro and newer). Unlike the open models, it needs no download and uses no extra storage. It’s included with Priobs Pro. See the Apple Intelligence guide.

Priobs is free to download and comes with a free trial. After the trial, chatting, model downloads, Siri and automations need a Priobs Pro subscription, billed through your Apple Account. Every model is included, Apple Intelligence too. You can cancel any time in App Store settings. No ads, ever.

Chatting with any model, downloading models, Ask Priobs in Siri and Shortcuts, and automations. The app and the free trial cost nothing.

No. It’s part of Priobs Pro, like every other model. There is nothing extra to buy.

Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Or go through the App Store. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Yes, unless you cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your subscription covers the full model library, so extra models never cost more.

Check your free storage under Settings, General, iPhone Storage, since models range from a few hundred MB to several GB. Then check your iPhone meets that model’s memory requirement, listed on its model page.

Make sure your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer) and that it’s turned on under Settings, Apple Intelligence & Siri. If it’s off or unsupported, it won’t appear in Priobs.

Try a smaller model like Qwen 2.5 0.5B or LFM2 1.2B. Bigger models like Qwen 3 4B or Gemma 4 E2B take more time, especially on older iPhones. Closing other apps can help too.

Usually a lost connection, or the app sat in the background too long during a big download. Reopen Priobs, stay on Wi-Fi and try again. You can delete any model from the library to free up space.
